Just spent a family weekend in Rotorua in my new ride, on the way home, we stopped by a self servicing car wash place in Napier. While I was watching my brother doing the hard work under twilight, I noticed there were some interesting textures going on my wind screen, foaming (colour foam) & water streaks, splashes, spray ... So, I decided to snap a series of these moments.

I spotted this young bird, it camouflage quite well into the background. It tried to escape without me noticing, but failed with the amount of noise it made. While the bird was glancing back at me, I made the opportunity to capture it against the texture rich background.

While mum was giving my dogs a clean up, I wanted to try capturing the soft fuzziness of wet hair being dried. Of course, the model did most of the work, like most dogs hair drying is one of her less favorite things to do, barely ever she will keep this still.

There were so many bright & interesting subject that allowed experiments to capture in different angles. So there area few variation in this shot, 50/50 in background, 2/3 & 1/3 in foreground, with the ship coming in as center subject.
