A new super-fast card has been developed by Lexar Media, the Professional 600xcompact flash with a read and write speed of 90mb per second. Optimised forUDMA 6 enabled cameras, the card is designed to be best in class for photographers capturing high-definition stills and videos. Because of the medium’s speedy performance, the card will significantly increase in-camera performance by rapidly clearing a camera’s buffer and making fast cameras even faster, allowing photographers to simply keep shooting.
“Photographers are constantly demanding more from their equipment, and an increase in image capture speeds paired with a decrease in image transfer times can mean the world to a professional shooter,” said Jeff Cable, director of marketing, Lexar Media. “When shooting with newer cameras like the Canon EOS 7D, Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Nikon D3x or Nikon D300S, professionals can capture more images per second and hundreds of JPEG files without pausing to clear their cameras’ buffers.”
