When Manuel finally got to photograph Castle Hill, he couldn’t reconcile his usual minimalist style with the intricate formations of twisted rock to find a workable composition. The golden hour came and went, with the rolling granite granting no mercy. Walking back to the car defeated, Marcel stumbled upon this basin, which provided about as clean a line as he was likely to find and led the eye neatly up to the snowy peak and the stars above. @m_ste_
